We have successfully had approved an outline application for a major development consisting of the erection of B2 and B8 units as Basford Lane Industrial Estate, Leek, within the Staffordshire Moorlands District.
This major project involved a number of issues to contend with. Firstly, we proved, by a simple appeal process, during the consideration of the planning application that an Environmental Impact Assessment would not be required, saving the client thousands of pounds. Against the odds, we gained permission for the scheme, negotiating amendments, successfully providing that the social and economic benefits of the scheme far outweighed the associated environmental impacts.
This site will create jobs for local people, support local services and contribute to the vitality of the local economy.
