Planning Permission – Tower House – Parker Planning Services

Discuss your requirements with us

Our Heritage Consultancy at Parker Planning Services successfully gained a full planning permission and listed building consent to convert a three storey Georgian Town House in Norwich, which was previously the judges’ lodgings, into 6 high-quality flats.

The prestigious Tower House is located within a highly sustainable area within the city centre, with excellent access to local facilities and services on offer such as; shops, education and employment opportunities. It lies within the Norwich City Centre Conservation Area, where there is an acknowledged need to preserve and enhance the character and appearance of the area. As a result, the proposed plan pays careful regard to the character and setting of the relevant heritage assets in terms of layout and design, preserving and enhancing the architectural and historic character.

This was therefore a project that our heritage specialist Franziska Callaghan contributed towards. In accordance with national and local policies, it suggests that the proposal did not adversely affect the character and appearance, nor the setting of the heritage assets.

We are therefore very pleased that the permission was unanimously granted.
