Babergh and Mid Suffolk Call for Residential Land Sites – Act Now!
Following adoption of the Babergh and Mid Suffolk Joint Local Plan Part 1 2018-2037 Development Plan Document (DPD) in November 2023, the Councils are now progressing with the production of the Joint Local Plan Part 2 DPD.
At this initial point of the plan-making process, the councils are inviting site submissions to be put forward for residential land use for consideration for future development. (A further call for sites exercise may be undertaken for other land uses in the future.)
If you own land in Babergh and Mid Suffolk suitable for housing, it’s crucial to engage in this consultation. This is your chance to have your site formally considered and assessed by the council, potentially paving the way for planning permission.
