Parker Planning Services have successfully won another appeal against South Norfolk District Council, gaining our client outline planning permission within the countryside, outside of the development boundary.
The client came to us with a refused application for erection of one dwelling and garage located on land to North East of Spinks Lane, Wymondham, Norfolk.
We assessed the site and advised the client that we were likely to be able to win an approval at appeal for them. We produced a detailed ‘Planning Appeal Statement’ arguing against the Council’s reasons for refusal.
The reasons for refusal included the proposals impact upon the character and appearance of the area, the eroding of the strategic gap and the proposals position outside the development boundary.
We successfully proved that the proposal was acceptable in principle demonstrating that the impact upon the strategic gap and character and appearance of the area was negligible and that the proposal was sustainable in line with the National Planning Policy Framework.
