Phil has a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster. Prior to working for Parker Planning Services, Phil has extensive experience working within the private sector as well as previously working within a planning consultancy. Phil has extensive political knowledge and expertise having had a successful career within politics. He is very well organised and a pleasure to work with and always gains complements from clients who require a very high level of service.
Phil manages his own work load, as well as assisting the principal planner with major applications/ schemes. He has a keen interest in tackling the housing crisis, particularly in rural areas, and has managed various applications and appeals throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. He is excited by a new High Court ruling which was upheld in the Appeal Court in March last year which makes rural housing applications more flexible outside of defined settlement boundaries which is a very positive and progressive outcome for everyone.
Life outside Parker Planning Services
Phil has a keen interest in politics in general and local government in particular. When he does have a spare moment, you may find him playing a spot of golf or in the gym.
