The Proposal We are keen to engage with the local community and stakeholders on this proposal, so please do email us before the consultation period closes on the Friday 28th May 2021, to request the full proposal documents pack or additional information, or to tell us your views, email us at:  hemsby@parkerplanningservices.co.uk

We want to inform the local community and interested stakeholders and to provide an early opportunity for people to comment on the emerging proposals for the development that incorporates the following:

  • The development will be 93 residential units
  • The scheme will provide a mix of 2,3 and 4 bed homes.
  • Area of Public open space will be provided on the site.

The developer, who recently purchased the site, will be looking to submit a Reserved Matters application in due course.  The site already has outline permission for 93 dwellings (06/16/0583/0), with detailed proposals outlining all of the above points.  Examples of some of the housing types and the overall site layout have been included in the leaflet – circulated to stakeholders.

The views of local stakeholders and community members are welcomed and will be considered by the Project Team before the design is finalised and the Reserved Matters application is submitted to Great Yarmouth Borough Council. Following submission there will then be a further formal opportunity to comment on the submitted planning application as part of the Borough Council’s Statutory Consultation Process.
