Major developments sometimes require an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report. but before you commission one – first it best to establish whether you need one! We regularly advise clients on this matter, then we can complete EIA screening and scoping opinions submissions to their Local Planning Authorities on their behalf.
Likewise we undertake the whole process – which can include researching and producing the Environmental Impact Assessment – where much of the specialist work needed can be done by our in-house specialists team: eg:- Ecology, Heritage, Highways, Landscape, Tree, Environmental and other impacts.
Get in touch, if you think you might need an EIA, and we’ll be delighted to discuss this and provide you with our suggestions and a fee quote for our services to complete the EIA process and final report.
An Environmental Statement can sometimes be provided instead and requires less input. In some cases an Environmental Statement are beneficial to explain what the environmental benefits or considerations of a project would be. Such proposal examples include: energy, minerals and waste, community, major developments etc.
An energy statement explains what the energy benefits or considerations of a proposal would be and make conclusions as to the impact or benefits of the proposal.
