Surveying, Unique Homes and Self Build
On this site, the client wanted to establish what the land development options and planning possibilities were for this large plot – with an existing single residential house and established access to a potential new rear plot, based in mid-Norfolk, nr. Dereham.
This topographical survey was commissioned to establish what exactly the parametres for the architectural design concept would be. It served to ascertain what designs could achieve planning application success on the site. Fundamentally – it’s the first step to enabling the land’s development. The land survey covered the area encompassing the access, driveway, and the area of the rear plot too.
This topography survey clarified the situation of the existing trees, their heights and widths – and defines the tree requirements and plan. This topographical and arboricultural survey clarified and informed the architect of the narrow constraits on the site highlighted in the topography reports, in preparation for the architectural planning stages.
Parker Planning Services then went on to complete the full planning application for this project too, which secured planning permission, from Breckland District Council.
